Spyder “Big Guy”

The Spyder “Big Guy” (SWIR900C-3) has an infrared and camera range up to 330ft., thereby eliminating the need for a separate camera and illuminator. People and objects can actually be recognized as far away as 200ft. with this incredible camera.

The Spyder Big Guy employs a special extra-large infrared array to provide full lens angulation coverage of the entire scene. With its built in 3.9mm to 105mm lens, it is easy to adjust this camera to clearly identify the users distant objectives.

The lens can easily be manually set as a varifocal or can be used as a zoom, with the addition of its remote control. 520 line resolution ensures a high degree of clarity of the color pictures, as well as the automatic, B&W night infrared pictures.

Considerable energy savings is assured, as external lighting is not required and the light emitting diode array uses far less power consumption then other means of lighting the area for a camera. The Spyder SWIR900 camera is weather resistant and operates on 12VDC (power supply not included). A camera mount is included.

For instance, a camera might see a large object clearly at 50 feet away, but, that does not mean that something as small as a face can be recognized. Designed to be impervious to attacks by vandals, yet easy to install, the new Sperry-Spyder, SW3144 is a sharp looking indoor/outdoor, color/BW, day nite, camera. A protective shield covers the lens and 36LED, high output infrared array, which can easily be replaced even if attacked with paint. This shield is optically correct, polycarbonate so the high quality images of the camera are not degraded.
